Women’s Weekend Discernment Retreat, April 8-10

Learning what it’s all about…

St. Scholastica Monastery:   April 8-10, 2011 Women who would like to know what religious life is all about and whether God could possibly be calling them to this way of life are invited to come to spend a weekend in a monastic setting where they can experience what the religious life is like.  The “retreat” is informational with sessions on discernment, prayer, various forms of religious life in the Church, time for private prayer and consultation, and a chance to meet with Sisters , pray together with them, and have questions answered.  There is no obligation for the retreat, which is open to single, Catholic women ages 18-45.  Housing and meals are provided.  The retreat begins Friday evening, April 8, with Evening Prayer and ends on Sunday, April 10, at 1:00 p.m. following Eucharist. For more information or to register contact Sister Mary Catherine Shambour at mcshambour@duluthosb.org or 218-723-6646.
