St. Scholastica MonasteryDuluth, MinnesotaApril 20-22, 2012Single Catholic women, 21 to 50 years old, who would like to know what religious life is all about and whether God could possibly be calling them to this way of life are invited to spend a weekend in a monastic setting where they can experience what the life is like. The “retreat” is informational with sessions on discernment, prayer, various forms of religious life in the Church, time for private prayer and consultation, and a chance to meet with Sisters and the women currently in formation. Participants will have the opportunity for prayer together with the monastic community and for private prayer and reflection.There is no obligation for attending. Housing and meals are provided. The retreat begins with Evening Prayer on Friday, April 20, and ends at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday following Eucharist and brunch.For more information or to register by April 18, contact Sister Mary Catherine Shambour at mcshambour@duluthosb.org or at 218-723-6646.
