Sister Joan Braun, OSB, died Saturday, February 5, 2011, in St. Scholastoca Monastery.A wake service was held in Our Lady Queen of Peace Chapel during Evening Prayer at 7 p.m. Friday, February 11 with visitation from 5:30 until 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated in the Chapel Saturday, February 12 at 10 a.m., with Father Tom Foster presiding.
