I am with you always until the end of the age. (Matthew 28:20)
Really, Lord? You are with me always? But I can’t see you and some days I don’t even feel your presence.
You are here, and still there is suffering and pain? It doesn’t make sense to me.
How can you say you are with me always when I have so much confusion and worry? I don’t understand who you are or who you want me to be.
There are times that I really doubt that, as you said, it was better for me that you go (John 16:7). Really? I think it would be better if you had stayed so I could see you, touch you, walk with you, and talk with you.
You promised to be with me always and yet my heart aches and longs to be with you. I want to feel your love, to be assured of your love, to trust in your love.
Thank you, Lord, for saying that you are with me always.
I believe. Help my unbelief.
