I’m on a journey
But didn’t pack a bag
Didn’t buy a ticket
Yet I’m cleared to travel.
I’m on a journey
Though I didn’t leave home –
A journey to the center
Of my heart.
The chambers are many
Filled with the love
Of family, of friends,
Of You, Jesus,
The steady heartbeat,
That brings life.
Oh, Love, Your Blood
Pulses through me
Every waking moment
And while I sleep.
This journey never ends
And all the while
I am home with You.
