Look what we’ve got! Through Jesus’ death and resurrection we have “an inheritance that is imperishable, undefiled, and unfading” (1 Peter 1:4). This inheritance is nothing more than salvation!
Look what we’ve got! We have a salvation that is imperishable. It cannot decay, rot, or be destroyed. It is eternal. It cannot be lost or devalue, this one is permanent. It is undefiled. It is untouched by sin, stain, or corruption. Our salvation is holy and unblemished, matching the purity of God himself. Our inheritance is unfading. It never loses its beauty, value, or splendor over time. Our salvation is perpetually glorious.
Heavenly Father, I praise You and bless Your holy name. Thank You for Your great mercy in giving me a new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Lord, I thank You that this hope is anchored in an inheritance that is imperishable, undefiled, and unfading and that it is reserved in heaven for me.
