“[God] does not ration the gifts of the Spirit” (John 3:34). So, do not be afraid to ask God for the blessings and the gifts of the Spirit that you need.
When you are stressed and unsure and you need guidance, ask for wisdom.
When you are tempted, ask for counsel.
When you are overcome with sinful pride, ask for fear of the Lord.
When you are confused and find it difficult to follow Church teachings, ask for knowledge and understanding.
When you are losing hope and are afraid, ask for fortitude.
When you are feeling restless or listless in your spiritual life, ask for piety.
Come, Holy Spirt, fill the hearts of your faithful and kindle in them the fire of your love!
