God has ordered time so that days and nights, months and seasons all serve a purpose. The Psalmist says that God’s “works are many and in wisdom He made them all. He made the moon to mark the seasons and even the sun knows the time of its setting” (Psalm 104).
How blessed we are to live in a world ordered by our loving God! He has gifted us with time and with all the seasons. If we pay attention, we can see God’s loving kindness in all the wonders of creation. No matter the time or season, God’s glory shows forth all around us.
When we see the sun light up the sky, how can we not sing God’s praise? When the stars of night glitter in the dark, how can we not be filled with awe? When we are bathed in golden colors and feel the cool breeze, how can we not marvel in our God?
No matter the time or season, may we seek God’s wisdom.
No matter the time or season, may we trust in God’s providence.
No matter the time or season, may we follow God’s way.
