Staying positive is considered a vital part of a good and fulfilling life.

Staying positive is not being naive or in denial about negative emotions.

Staying positive is making a conscious choice to focus on the good despite challenges and believing in a positive future. 

Staying positive is not about avoiding reality and never having negative thoughts. 

Staying positive is choosing how to respond to reality and maintain hope. It involves actively reframing negative thoughts, practicing mindfulness, and focusing on what you can control to build a more balanced and hopeful perspective. 

Staying positive is not pretending that pain and loss and challenge a not a part of life. 

Staying positive is acknowledging and dealing with pain and loss. It is choosing to not let it define you or use it to justify your negative words and actions.

Staying positive is not always easy.
Some days you may find it effortless.
Some days it only comes with hard work.
But staying positive is always, always better than the alternative.
