Sister Jean Prays for Pastors for Peace

Sister Jean Maher of St. Scholastica Monastery (at the microphone) and director of McCabe Renewal Center was invited to pray a blessing on Tuesday, July 6, for the Pastors for Peace in front of the federal building in Duluth, Minnesota.

Pastors for Peace is taking supplies to Cuba that were collected in Duluth. Mayor Don Ness spoke about the importance of ending the American sanctions against Cuba. And a letter was read from U.S. Congressman Jim Oberstar with the same message and expressing support for the work of Pastors for Peace.
