Serra Club of Duluth Inducts Sister Lisa Maurer

On May 16, 2011, Sister Lisa Maurer, OSB, was inducted into Serra Club of Duluth.

With more than 700 clubs in 40 countries, Serra clubs are known for their efforts to foster and affirm Catholic vocations to the ministerial priesthood and vowed religious life.

The Serran Prayer for Vocations:

O God, Who wills not the death a a sinner – but rather that he be converted and live  – grant we beseechyou – through the intercession of the Blessed Mary, ever Virgin – Saint Joseph, her spouse – BlessedJunipero Serra – and all the saints – an increase of laborers with Christ to spend and consume themselvesfor souls – through the same Jesus Christ – Your Son – Who lives and reigns with You – in the unity ofthe Holy Spirit – God forever – and ever.  Amen.
