Scheherazade Performed at McCabe

McCabe Renewal Center and the young people who were signed up for the Scheherazade program, put on the play adapted rom Scheherazade by May Lynch on Thursday, April 9th.  Eleven characters made up the cast, including the intimidating Sultan Schahriah. Family and friends of the actors crowded the room, the throne room, where the story “played” out.

Come back to this location to find the fuller story and photos.  This was a difficult play to memorize and these young people did a super work of it!

“Listen carefully, my child, to your master's precepts, and incline the ear of your heart. Receive willingly and carry out effectively your loving father's advice, that by the labor of obedience you may return to Him from whom you had departed by the sloth of disobedience.”
