New Member of St. Louis County Law Enforcement Chaplaincy (SLCLEC)

Sister Paule Pierre Barbeau and Saint Louis County Sheriff Ross Litman

Sister Paule Pierre Barbeau was recently sworn in as a law enforcement chaplain for St. Louis County by Sheriff Ross Litman.  The ceremony took place on February 24, 2016, in the Sheriff’s Office in Duluth, MN with Reverend Kevin Norton, STCLEC Executive Director, Father John Petrich, STCLEC President, and Sister Elizabeth Farias as witnesses.  Sister Paule Pierre is the first individual in our Community to volunteer in this capacity.

Sister Paule Pierre made her temporary profession with the St. Scholastica Community in 2013.  She is currently receiving training in clinical pastoral education.

“It is truly a privilege, honor, and blessing to be an instrument of the Holy Spirit in serving those who serve others,” says Sister Paule Pierre.
