Lenten Retreat: Stories of Our Thirsting, Seeing, Dying, and Rising

This retreat is all about encounters, of God with us.  It uses the Gospels for the 3rd, 4th, and 5th Sundays of Lent; namely, the Woman at the Well; the Man Born Blind; and the Raising of Lazurus.

Using Sherry Wedell’s process which she sets forth in her book Forming Intentional Disiples, we will journey through these weeks of Lent responding to our encounter with God, leading us to become INTENTIONAL DISCIPLES.

Facilitators: Fr. Steve Ulrick and Sister Pauline Micke, OSB

“Listen carefully, my child, to your master's precepts, and incline the ear of your heart. Receive willingly and carry out effectively your loving father's advice, that by the labor of obedience you may return to Him from whom you had departed by the sloth of disobedience.”
–St. Benedict of Nursia, The Rule of Saint Benedict
