Sister Sarah O’Malley is leading a summer retreat
Saturday, July 12, 2014, from 8:45 a.m. to 12 noon
here at the Monastery.
This retreat, “Called to be Instruments of Peace,” will look at the desire that rests in everyone’s heart–PEACE! The world seeks to come to this way of life. We will look at how it was lived and witnessed in the lives of St. Francis of Assisi (1182-1226), Cardinal Joseph Bernardin of Chicago (1928-1996), and Pope Francis of Rome (1936- ).
