Each year the Sisters look forward to attending the Benedictine Annual Conference. The conference took place this last week in Duluth at the DECC. The Sisters love partaking in this event and appreciate that it is held so close to their home. How convenient!

Jerry Carley presents the 2023 Benedictine Distinguished Leadership Award to Sister Beverly Horn. She was recognized for her years educating nurses as a faculty member of St. Scholastica Monastery, at the University of Washington, Seattle and Wayne State University. Among her many accomplishments, she also co-founded and served as the executive director of the Transcultural Nursing Society.
