And indeed it was, as attested by some of us Sisters who attended the last Duluth Symphony Orchestra performance of the season, complete with Bach, Baker, Poulenc’s Gloria, and Tchaikovsky’s 1812 Festival Overture. The Finale also included music for violin(s) and the DSSO Chorus. What a banquet!Music can deeply connect us to self, our true self, our emotional, passionate self, our best self – lifting and carrying us to greater cosmic awareness permeated with God’s very presence.I wonder what the final Spectacular Finale will be like – “of which we know neither the day nor the hour?” And of which “eye has not seen nor ear heard.”
