Big Opening Crowd

It took no time at all for the lines of people to buy up all the breads, jams, cookies, and candies that had been made.

Hand-made Kitchen Towels

One unique and new item this year was “Hildegard of Bingen’s Cookies of Joy.”  They were a hit and everyone loved learning a little more about this amazing woman who is one of our ancestors.

Comments heard from many of the participants referred to the “spirit” at this Christmas sale.  One shopper said, “It feels like Christmas—there is such a great spirit here.”
