Do you seek meaning in your life? Do you desire to serve God by assisting in His plan of salvation for the world? Would you be willing to give up some good things of this world in exchange for a deeper relationship with Christ? If you would like to learn what possibilities exist for women to follow a religious calling in our Church, you are invited to a free weekend “discernment” retreat at St. Scholastica Monastery in Duluth, MN, where you can learn how to identify a religious calling and what it means – with no pressure put on you in any way.
The retreat, which begins with Evening Prayer Friday, April 19 at 5:00 p.m. and ends at 1:00 p.m., Sunday, April 21, includes sessions on discernment, prayer, types of religious communities and the opportunity to meet and pray with the monastic community and experience our lives. We would love to meet you!
There is no obligation or charge for the retreat: housing and meals are provided, but registration by April 17 is required. For more information or to register contact Sister Mary Catherine at 218-723-6646 or at mcshambour@duluthosb.org.
