Hold On

hold

“Hold on” is what I wanted to call out as I watched a roofer coming down from one of our buildings.

“Hold on” is what I wanted to say to a friend who was telling me about her struggles with her prayer life.

“Hold on” is what I often think to myself when my schedule gets overwhelming.

“Hold on” is what Jesus is telling us when he said “I am the vine and you are the branches.”

“Our humanity comes to its fullest bloom in giving. We become beautiful people when we give whatever we can give: a smile, a handshake, a kiss, an embrace, a word of love, a present, a part of our life...all of our life.”
–Henri Nouwen
