Sister Danile Lynch and Sister Josephine Krulc celebrated their Golden Jubilees on Saturday, August 13, 2017. They renewed in writing their commitment to the Benedictine way of life in the Community of St. Scholastica Monastery in a ceremony during a Mass celebrated by Bishop Paul Sirba.
The Sisters sang the Suscipe as part of the ceremony.
Prioress, Sister Beverly Raway presented the Jubilarians to the assembly.
As the Bishop and the laughing audience looked on, the Sisters exchanged happy hugs all around.
Sister Jane Casey, in failing health, celebrated her 70th Jubilee on the same day as her 90th birthday in a private ceremony. She died only days later.
