The Sisters of St. Scholastica Monastery’s Response to the Coronavirus Pandemic UPDATE – June 11, 2020
Our Monastery and Chapel remain closed, due to concerns for our Sisters, volunteers, oblates, staff and the greater community. We are following the Minnesota Department of Health guidelines for congregate living.
We are not receiving guests, friends, family, oblates and volunteers. Religious services and large events are still on-hold. Our Monastery Books and Gifts remains closed as does our ministry outreach and the Center for Spirituality and Enrichment. Our employees are slowly returning to work and are screened daily to assure a safe environment for them and for our Sisters.
Each day brings a new evaluation for us and although some restrictions have been lifted by our Diocese we feel that it is important for our safety and yours to remain cautious in the weeks ahead, but we do see a light at the end of the tunnel. Please continue to check our social media sites and website for updates at www.duluthbenedictines.org. And, if you have a specific prayer intention please let us know here: https://duluthbenedictines.org/prayer-requests/
If you wish to purchase something from Monastery Books and Gifts please contact the gift shop manager, Deb Castle at 218.723.7002.
Please know that we continue to pray for you and the healing of our world every day. We cannot wait for you to walk through our doors again. We miss you.
Prioress, Sister Beverly Raway, OSB
