Did you notice that as we celebrated Christmas we were not allowed to loiter at the stable for very long? In fact the day after Christmas we had the commemoration of St. Stephen, the first martyr. Even the shepherds did not stay admiring the Newborn King very long. Scripture tells us that they “found the baby lying in the manger…they understood…made known the message…and went off glorifying and praising God.” . . .
